Week 04

What we do in this life and the choices we make, are ours alone. No one makes the choices for us, and no one can force us to make specific choices. This is part of God’s plan, the whole reason He went with Jesus Christ, for us to have agency. What we do in this life is up to us. We should do what we love to do, not to please others. “Life is for living and working at. If you find anything or anybody a bore, the fault is in yourself.” — Elizabeth I. If we ever regret what we chose to do in our life, that is our fault and no one else’s. Our life is our own, and how we choose to live it is important, this includes what we do in and for our career. The question you should ask yourself before you choose to do something or find out what you want to do is, “Who am I and what kind of person do I want to be?” You should also include Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in the process, they know you better than you, and others know you. They know your talents, strengths, and weaknesses. They will help guide you to your full potential, that is if you allow them to do so. This will help you choose something that you will enjoy doing and something that you will want to improve at. If it is something that you enjoy doing, it is something that you will want to do more often, therefore, you will improve at it. That does not mean that you get to do things you enjoy doing all the time but if it is even a part of it, you will want to improve. There are also limitations to what you can do for your career, it has to be something that people will pay you to do, otherwise, you cannot make a living.
