Week 02
Randy Pausch makes so many good points in his last lecture. He was able to achieve his childhood dreams because he never let anything stop him and his parents did not stop his creativity, even when it involved the walls in his home. Dreaming is important because it helps us experience things we would never think of otherwise. Even if the dream is impossible it helps by giving us the confidence to go after something that we want. Dreaming is not going to hurt anyone, in fact, people who dream big are often happier than the people that settle for less. One of my childhood dreams was to have a job that involved animals in any way. I know I can achieve this because there are so many different jobs that involve animals. The job I am working towards involves dogs and I know if I went back in time to tell myself what I eventually will do, she would be ecstatic.
